Business Analyst (Decision Rules System Analyst with FICO Blaze Advisor)(Ref 117)

Terrific career opportunity with one of the county’s best known credit retailers. You will be joining our client’s Credit Risk Management Team to be their Senior Decision Rules System Analyst. It’s an exciting environment where you will be constantly encouraged to reinvent the way they conduct their business in their continuous drive to remain at the very top of their industry. Your main purpose lies in the contribution to the work of the CRM department where the focus is to enhance the Company’s performance by administering and maintaining the decision management system for all decision logic for CRM.
Key Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration or Computer Science would be ideal;
  • 5+ years in retail or financial services industry;
  • 3+ years of combined experience with rules harvesting, rules requirements gathering or decision modeling;
  • Experience working with business owners to elicit, define and maintain business requirements and transform them into technical solutions;
  • Analysis, development and implementation of FICO Blaze Advisor applications;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Rule Engine architecture and development;
  • Rules Management Application Development (RMA) experience;
  • Java experience;
  • Strong unit and integration testing skills. 

 



Duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Model rules and event solutions using various modeling tools and standards;
  • Gather requirements from business units and create various decision model and rule book artefacts;
  • Work with development to create test cases and test sheets for automated testing in tools like Blaze Advisor;
  • Author of business rules in tools like Blaze or IBM ODM Decision Centre or Decision Studio;
  • Support the Project Manager as the technical team lead on the project;
  • Identify gaps in requirements and solve problems for the supporting staff;
  • Identify sequencing of services and technologies that are integrated in later phases of the project;

·         Collaborate with DBAs, SAs and BAs to design solutions
